The Journal of Global South Studies (JGSS) uses a rigorous peer review system. All accepted submissions under a double-blind peer review process prior to publication.

JGSS is currently seeking out peer reviewers who would be responsible for the following:

• Assessing the quality, validity, and originality of a submission and ensuring that it adheres to the journal’s style guide and its citation style.
• Being fair, constructive, actionable, and unbiased in their feedback while also completing their reviews in a timely manner and adhering to editor’s deadlines.
• Disclosing any potential conflicts of interest and maintaining confidentiality during the review process.
• Being willing to review a submission again if necessary.

As a peer reviewer, you will not only help authors and the journal, but you will also be able to continue to improve and hone your skills as a researcher and as a writer.
