Tips for Making Library Subscription Requests
One of the keys to ensuring RHM’s sustainability is getting university libraries to subscribe. We need your help with this.
One option, of course, is to download and submit the Library Recommendation Form and deliver this to your library’s acquisitions department. Better yet, you could encourage as many of your institutional colleagues as possible to do the same, even coordinating a brief time for folks to do this together at a department or other meeting.
Another option, and one that likely will be more effective at getting the recommendation into the right hands would be to contact directly your department’s/unit’s library liaison (if you have one) and/or your library’s relevant subject librarian(s) (which could include health sciences) along with an acquisitions librarian.
In making your recommendation, you might emphasize that this is the first and only journal focused on this topic, that the journal publishes interdisciplinary focus that includes the Medical Humanities, and that the journal is supported by a wide network of scholars across several national professional organizations.
