Publication Ethics
Woolf Studies Annual is a member of CELJ and adheres to its Code of Conduct. The journal takes full responsibility for its content and will, when warranted, issue corrections, retractions, clarifications, and apologies.
Woolf Studies Annual uses an anonymous peer review system that protects the anonymity of authors and reviewers. We encourage peer reviewers to approach their feedback as a step in the author’s writing process, even when they (the reviewers) recommend rejection of an author’s submission. The journal has and follows clear, rigorous submission guidelines and criteria, which are available here. Authors and reviewers are encouraged to contact the journal’s editor, Benjamin Hagen (woolfstudiesannual@gmail.com) with any concerns or questions.
To be considered for the journal, articles must be an author’s original work that is not currently submitted to another publisher. All submitted material will remain confidential throughout the review process. Woolf Studies Annual has no tolerance of academic dishonesty (including plagiarism) or research misconduct.
The University of Florida Press also has its own ethical standards for journals, which can be found here.
